Yes…really!!! We can choose our thoughts just as we can choose our actions. We have thoughts…thoughts don’t have us (though sometimes it feels as if they do).
Here’s a little TRICK...a reminder of what I have just said…to be used for dirty worry thoughts (see 21st January)…not real problems that need to be solved and not evaporated into thin air.
Think of your problems...really concentrate on them…really hard!!! As you do this squeeze your hand into a tight fist. With each thought tighten your fist...till it hurts.
THEN…open your palms…your fingers spread wide…and release your problems…let them GO!!!
